DARYL SHULAR

MANAGING PARTNER/CORPORATE CHEF

Chef Shular has a history of embracing challenges and overcoming the odds. As a member of the American Culinary Federation since 1993, he has received over twelve gold medals and eight “Best in Shows” in local and national and competitions. Additionally, in 2008 Chef Shular was a member of the internationally recognized ACF United States Culinary Olympic Team, the official culinary regional team representing the United States in international culinary competitions.

The team achievement was an Olympic Gold Medal, winning top honors against 63 teams at the IKA “Culinary Olympics” held every four years in Erfurt, Germany.

His achievement, dedication, talent, and leadership ability earned him the position of team captain for the ICS International Culinary Regional Team that competed at the Culinary Olympics in 2012.

 

As if representing the US at the highest level is not enough, Shular has been recognized and featured in many media publications, including the prestigious American historical archives “The History Makers”. His induction into The History Makers in 2005 made Chef Shular one of the youngest ever and one of only a few African-American chefs elected for this achievement.  

Master Chef Daryl Shular is not only one of the most talented and respected chefs in the country, but he is also one of America’s elite History Makers!  In 2014 Chef Shular etched his name in the culinary history books by becoming the first African American and minority to successfully pass the grueling 130-hour; eight-day test known as the Master Chef exam. After years of preparation and personal sacrifice Chef Shular prevailed and earned the culinary industry’s highest honor, the designation known as Certified Master Chef (CMC).

QUIAN HUFF

CHIEF PLANNER & DESIGNER

Quian Huff is a seasoned event planner with a lifetime of experience managing resources and servicing clients from all walks of life. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Quian spent her adolescent years in her mother’s salon learning expert consultant behavior. Her journey from a demanding career with the department of defense to the successful ownership of a daycare facility to launching a stellar event planning company was both life altering and humbling. Quian is the CEO and principal designer of The Ashley Clay Experience and while this sounds glamourous, the day-to-day commitment it takes to build a brand requires persistent passion. The work she does is more than simple event planning. The Ashley Clay Experience stands out as unique and exceptional in a competitive market. Quian helps to service private and corporate clients with an attention to detail that places her work in a category of its own. Quian’s designs are a standard and this is evident with each experience.

 

While event design is the core of Quian’s thriving body of work, she continues to fashion fresh projects and venture into unchartered territory. Quian is a creator at heart and an inspiration. She is passionate about mentoring and guiding those with leadership and business aspirations. Quian has a desire to pass on a key message, “Prospering in My Afflictions”. During declining business environments, Quian envisions expansion and client growth. Her dynamic results are attributed to forward thinking and positive reach. She is a woman paving the pathways to tomorrow. Quian Huff is the embodiment of innovation, ingenuity and determination.
